Princes St Special Housing Area, Ōtāhuhu

Concept and detail landscape design and contract supervision for a 31-dwelling medium density housing development and esplanade reserve on the Ōtāhuhu Creek. Indicative landscape designs for individual lots were also developed.

Takapuna Beach Play Space, Takapuna

Concept design for a privately-funded destination play space at Takapuna Beach. The play space was designed to be accessible to children in wheelchairs and has become hugely popular. Developed in collaboration with Future Landscapes.

Auckland Maunga access changes

Concept plans and input into detail design for new car parking arrangements at Ōwairaka (Mt Albert), Puketāpapa (Mt Roskill) and Ōtāhuhu (Mt Richmond), as part of the Tāmaki Maunga Authority plans to remove vehicles from maunga summits.

Western Springs Stadium Planting, Auckland

Concept landscape design, tender documents and contract supervision for new specimen tree, amenity and revegetation planting at Western Springs Stadium. The planting was required to mitigate the removal of old pine trees and the construction of new terraced seating.

QBE Stadium Bus Facility, Albany

Landscape design of the layout, planting and street furniture for a proposed bus loading facility for major events at North Harbour Stadium. Detail planting and furniture design and specifications for the tender document package.

Ranui Housing Development

Landscape architectural design for a 96-unit apartment development in Ranui, West Auckland, including streetscape, shared open space, parking area and riparian revegetation design.

Astley Ave mixed use development, New Lynn

Landscape concept design for a brownfield site with a proposed mixture of trade retail, retail, child care centre and live/work units. Design goals included softening of car park areas and encouragement of a pedestrian friendly environment.

Waipuke Park, Lake Karapiro

Development of a concept plan for the lakeside area of a new park in Waipa District. The design included path layout, jetties, planting, picnic areas, fencing and a play space that incorporates predominantly natural materials.

Hoporata Quarry Mitigation Planting, Waiheke

Design, specification and programming of indigenous revegetation planting to mitigate the expansion of an existing quarry on Waiheke Island. The project involved working with local iwi to develop appropriate mitigation strategies for the quarry expansion.
